The five-time Women’s Champion has not wrestled on TV since WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view in September where she suffered multiple concussions at the hands of Ronda Rousey, which have left the company hesitant to clear her to compete.
As a result, she failed to wrestle at the first ever all-women’s pay-per-view event, Evolution, in October and Survivor Series the following month.
Despite being sidelined, Bliss has continued to feature prominently in WWE storylines without competing – she captained the red brand to victory in the women’s 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match two weeks ago.
And after retirement rumours were squashed by the Goddess on social media, her new role going forward was revealed on Raw last night.
Acting general manager Baron Corbin has given Bliss full control of Raw’s women’s division.
Her first act was to hold an “open forum” with Sasha Banks and Bayley where fans could ask them questions. The segment ended with the pair thwarting a surprise attack from Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke.
Bliss is adamant her return to the ring will happen “soon”, but for the meantime, she’ll be bossing Raw’s female talent.
