Man Utd news: Ronaldo hits out, Scholes slams Mourinho, Pogba Juve claim

Cristiano Ronaldo hit out at former club Manchester United last night after the Red Devils left it late to beat Juventus in Turin.

The attacker netted a stunning volley in the second half before Juan Mata and an Alex Sandro own goal won it for United.

And speaking after the match, Ronaldo was not happy.

“I was happy with the goal but we are disappointed because we should win the game easily, by three or four goals,” he told Viasport.

“Manchester didn’t do much, they created two chances from set pieces. English teams are always looking for set pieces.

“But we will learn from our mistakes and we are still top of the group and we are good.”

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been accused of lacking class in his celebrations at the final whistle against Juventus.

Mourinho gestured towards Juventus fans at the full-time whistle after his side produced a late comeback to topple the Italian side.

But his actions did not impress former United star Paul Scholes, who has a long-running feud with the Portuguese coach.

“This is everywhere he [Mourinho] goes,” he said on BT Sport.

“You need to win with a bit of class.

“Shake the managers hand, go over and clap your fans.

“I don’t think there’s any need for it but that’s the way he is.
