iPad Pro 2018 released today and this deal makes it much more affordable
APPLE’S new iPad Pro goes on sale today and there’s a good deal which makes this premium device much more affordable.
Apple iPad Pro is now on sale
The new iPad Pro was announced last week in New York and offers a swathe of improvements over its predecessor.
This refreshed and rebooted tablet gets an edge-to-edge display, facial recognition and new USB-C charging port which offers better compatibility with external devices.
There’s also an upgraded A12X Bionic processor which Apple says make the new Pro faster than over 90 percent of portable PCs.
Along with the new design and extra power, Apple has updated all of its iPad accessories with the Pencil stylus and Keyboard case both much-improved.
The Apple Pencil now sticks to the side of the iPad with it then getting charged wirelessly and the Smart Keyboard case now covers the entire tablet.
Express.co.uk recently reviewed the iPad Pro saying: “The new iPad Pro is the tablet many have been waiting for.
“This is not a small update from Apple but a massive refresh that allows this device to do so much more than before.
“Apple’s new Pro offers supreme power which allows it to perform tasks you never thought possible on a tablet.
“The stunning new edge-to-edge display also means the overall size of the Pro is smaller and even more portable.”
Apple unveils the brand new iPhone XS and iPhone XR
The iPad Pro is clearly an excellent upgrade but it does arrive with a very high price.
The 11-inch model starts from £799 and this can rise to well over £1,700 for the top-end 12.9-inch 1TB version.
Some mobile operators are selling the Pro on a monthly contract but this is still an expensive way to own this device.
However, if you do want to spread the cost then there’s a very good deal currently available at John Lewis.
The retailer is offering zero percent finance on the iPad Pro with customers able to pay the total amount back over 18-months.
This means you can buy the base 11-inch model for £44.38 per month and the 12.9-inch version for £53.83.
It’s worth noting that some versions of the new iPad Pro are already out of stock with Apple advising a two to three week wait for this latest product.
